Band Box History

Chicago Coin’s Band Box, originally produced from 1950–1952 as an animated jukebox speaker featuring “The World’s Smallest Band,” opened its curtains and moved its animatronic musicians whenever the connected jukebox played. After acquiring the Chicago Coin trademark in 1985, Brad Frank Restorations continued producing new Band Boxes, replacement parts, and variations of the classic models—preserving the legacy for collectors and enthusiasts.

Last Works

Some of Brad’s more unique restorations include a Bastian-Blessing Soda Fountain and “Mr. Slots” robot from The World of Sid and Marty Kroffet Amusement Park.
