Once the structural and mechanical work was complete, Brad turned his focus to the cosmetic and musical presentation of the machine. The Cowboy figures and Western-themed band members were repainted with care, preserving their original character while enhancing their detail and vibrancy. The lighting system was rewired and updated, ensuring the stage glowed just as it did when the machine first entertained crowds decades ago. Finally, the sound system was tested and tuned, allowing the band to “perform” once more in full rhythm. The result is a fully restored Chicago Coin Band Box that not only functions as intended but also captures the charm and spirit of its Cowboy theme, standing as both a piece of playable Americana and a testament to Brad Frank’s craftsmanship.
